Description
Embroidery is chic, current and it's everywhere. How about as a wall hanging to make a dramatic statement?
Can't hang an original embroidery on your wall? The photographic version shows all the lush details, fine needlework, brilliant rich colors of the original hand embroidery - and at an affordable price!
The original item is the border of a man's shirt sleeve which is part of a private collection of museum quality Hungarian embroidery. The extremely rich colors and dense embroidery are typical of the embroidery of this region in Southwestern Hungary and dates back to the early 1900s.
Hand embroidered items of this quality are no longer made in Hungary and reproductions of these early 20th century works would be very pricey.
But a great photograph is a perfect way to bring this rare item into your home to glam up your space. Or maybe remember or re-connect with your Hungarian heritage?
For Mugs and Cell Phone Cases and other products - a longer version is available to cover the item with the image from end to end.

This looks amazing on a Mug! I bought this and another with the Matyo Hungarian image, and the pair of them have become my favorite mugs to drink from and to display! I love it!

I used to work for a Hungarian woman years ago. Her husband was a tailor. This image brings me back.
